Are your windows and conservatories competetively priced?

Whilst we install first class products which utilise the very best materials and glazing technology we strive to deliver our products at prices which represent the best value for your money in our industry. Of course we recognise that you will certainly be able to obtain cheap quotes in general as windows and doors and conservatories are made up of many components, all of which can be sourced from many suppliers, but remember that your cheaper quote will often be reflected with inferior components which you will have to live with for a long time after it has been installed. The problem with double glazing today is that it often looks very much alike, regardless of the supplier and a comment that we often hear from our clients is that "a window is surely just a window?". The truth is that there are many PVCU profile (frame) systems on the market that window companies can choose to use and supply to their customers. In an industry that is extremely competitive, and where customers expect to get maximum value for money, and rightly so - it can be very tempting for a double glazing company to source slightly cheaper frames and locks and slightly cheaper hinges and even cheaper glass to bring down the price of their quote to win orders. But does this give value to the customer? Remember that value is about relative worth, not just the ticket price. Value is dependent upon your experience down the road ahead and you will only know in the coming years whether your investment in your windows or doors or conservatory has really been good value; where true quality will stand the test of time, and where poor quality components will really test the commitment to service of the company that installed them (when you are frequently calling them up a few years later asking for things to be repaired!) Or worse still - a company that is so overwhelmed by service calls that is ceases to trade.

The investment you make in new windows and doors is an investment in service as well as an investment in the original installation; we install the best product available, that we know will give years of trouble free service but we are also committed and able to deliver an ongoing service for your products should the need arise in the future for any adjustments and so on. Unfortunately, there are plenty of companies out there that will tell you they’re fitting a great product, even if they’re fitting something mediocre because lots of customers will buy on price alone. Windows and doors though are really like every other product you can buy; whether a computer, a meal in restaurant or the professional services of an accountant or suchlike – you get what you pay for and remember that if the price sounds too good to be true – it probably is!
