Are your window fitters local?

Yes, they are — and that’s something we’re very proud of.

All of our window and door fitters live and work locally in and around Bristol. They’re highly skilled, experienced professionals who take great pride in their work and genuinely care about getting things right for you.

Are your quotes really no-pressure?

Absolutely. At ZEN, we offer genuine no-pressure quotes. When you invite us to your home, our advisor will take accurate measurements, listen carefully to what you’re looking for, and answer any questions you may have. Then we’ll send you a detailed written quote by email, usually within a couple of days.

You’ll have all the time you need to review everything in your own space, without anyone standing over your shoulder or trying to rush you into a decision.

How long does the process take from quote to installation?

The time from receiving your quote to completing your installation typically ranges between 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the products you’ve chosen and the time of year. Throughout the process, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way. No surprises. No chasing. Just a smooth, well-organised service from beginning to ZEN.

Security & Guarantees

What is ZEN’s Guarantee, and what does it cover?

ZEN guarantees all white UPVC double glazing window products against bending, bowing, warping or cracking for 25 years (10 years on colour foiled frames and conservatory roofs).

In addition, we guarantee all hermetically-sealed double glazing units for 10 years against misting.

Are your installations certified?

Yes — all of our installations are fully certified and compliant with current building regulations.

ZEN Windows and Conservatories is a CERTASS registered company, which means we are officially approved to supply and install replacement double-glazed windows and doors to the highest standards. When your installation is complete, we’ll provide you with a CERTASS certificate of compliance, confirming that the work has been carried out correctly and legally.

How secure are your windows and doors?

At ZEN, all of our windows and doors are designed with safety in mind and built to offer peace of mind as well as performance.

All of our windows and doors feature sophisticated multi-point locking systems as standard, which secure the frames and sashes together at multiple points and which makes them very tough to break through.

Our glazing options include toughened safety glass, which is much stronger than standard glass and, if broken, shatters into small blunt pieces rather than sharp shards — making it safer for your family.

We also offer laminated glass (very tough to penetrate) and reinforced frames for added protection, especially for front doors or other high-risk areas. If security is a key concern for you, just let us know — we’ll guide you through the best options for your home.

Energy Efficiency

Are your double glazed windows A-rated?

Yes, our double glazed windows are A-rated as standard. The minimum required to be compliant with building regulations is a C rating. Find out more about the Window Energy Rating system.

Is your double glazing internally beaded?

Yes, ZEN’s double glazing is internally beaded as standard.
