When we first visited this lovely period home in Horfield, the original timber sash windows were showing their age. Years of exposure had left them draughty and difficult to operate. Furthermore, the stained glass in the upper sashes, while decorative, didn’t reflect the homeowners’ personal style.
Out with the Old
Our customers, Matt and Lydia knew they wanted more than just a functional upgrade — they wanted craftsmanship, care, and a fresh modern look.
The timber frames were worn out, inefficient, and difficult to operate. The decision was made to replace them entirely with high-performance uPVC double-glazed sash windows — preserving the home’s charm while dramatically improving comfort and energy-efficiency.
